Passed away at Rockwood Terrace, Durham on Thursday, December 11th, 2025 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late John Clark. Loving mother of Doug Clark and his wife Debra of Clearwater Bay, and Joan Gatherum of Durham, and she will be missed by dear family friend Brian Hoffman of Durham and daughter-in-law Georgie Clark of Winnipeg. Grandmother of Laura Clark of Winnipeg and Terri and husband Dan Harris of Matlock, Manitoba; and great-grandmother of Dominic Carriere, Hannah McMahon, Dylan and McKenzie Harris. Lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Millie was predeceased by her infant son John Emil, her son Robert Clark, her grandsons Derek McMahon and John Robert Clark, her parents Emil and Annie Jane Ritchie, her sisters Georgia Mitchell, Marion Fitzgerald, Jessie Helm and her brothers Leonard and Harvey Ritchie.

Millie graduated from Stratford General Hospital School of Nursing in 1953. Millie lived a quiet dignified life supporting her church and community wherever she lived.

A funeral service celebrating Millie’s life will be held at Knox United Church, Durham on Thursday, May 7 at 11 a.m., with visitation prior to the service from 10 – 10:45 a.m. A private interment will be held at Gelert Cemetery, Minden.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Durham Food Bank, Knox United Church (general fund) or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham.
