Jeff Bancroft

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jeffrey, who died at the age of 64 after living bravely with dementia. Though his illness changed many things, it never dimmed the love he had for his family or the joy he took in the world around him.

He is survived by his devoted wife Debbie, who stood by him through every chapter of their life together. He was the proud father of two daughters: Stefani (Kipp) and Jourdan (Jon). He was the proud papa of his five grandchildren: Jace, Max, Luke, Cohen, and Olive. Nothing brought him greater pride than the family he helped build and care for.

Predeceased by his parents Betty and Clayton, he also joins in rest his brother Randy. He leaves behind a large and loving family of siblings: brothers Rick, Tim, Tom (Cheryl), and Joe; and sisters Katy (Chris) and Kris (Ron). Each of them shared countless memories shaped by laughter, mischief, and the unmistakable warmth he brought to every gathering.

A man who lived life fully, he loved parties and the simple pleasure of a good rum and Coke. He and his brother Joe spent many weekends treasure-hunting at garage sales, a pastime that brought him joy and stories he never tired of telling. He was endlessly supportive of his daughters, driving them across Ontario and the United States for Irish dance competitions—always cheering from the sidelines, always there.

Above all else, he was a giver at heart. He would do anything for his wife, daughters, mother-in-law, or anyone else that he knew. His generosity, humor, and big-hearted spirit will be remembered by all who knew him.

His life was rich with love, family, and moments that will continue to echo in the hearts of those he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

Visitation will be held on Thursday Dec. 11th, 2025, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and again from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Families First (3260 Dougall Ave. South Windsor, 519-969-5841). On Friday, December 12, 2025, family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service for Jeffrey at 11:00 am at Families First.
