Passed away peacefully in her 101st year, and was welcomed into God’s Loving Arms on November 25, 2025 at Glen Hill Terrace.
Beloved wife and soulmate of the late Hains (predeceased 2015) for 62 years. Dear mother of Simon (Jenny), Helen (Dan) Murphy, Jack (Darlene) and Jenny (Jake) Teeninga. Loving Oma of Jeff (Rachel), Aaron (Emily), Kyle (Catherine), Seamus, Mike (Courtney), Brendan (Diana), Michelle (Mike), Brian (Amberley), Elise (Sandy) and beloved great-Oma to 17 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Riekele Snyder, sister-in-law of Annie Snyder, Simon Pols, Jan Stienstra and Rinze Muizelaar. She was predeceased by four sisters and three brothers (Klaas, Annie, Herman, Hennie, Reink, Loes, Tina). She will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the many staff of Glen Hill Terrace for the love and excellent care they extended to our mom.
The celebration of life will be held at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church (Bowmanville) at 11:00 AM. Internment will be held with the family prior to the service. A reception will immediately follow in the church hall and all guests are invited to join the family.
