Peacefully, on Friday, October 31, 2025 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa, at age 87 Dave was called to his heavenly home. David Jackson of Oshawa and formerly of Scugog Island, beloved husband of Nancy (nee McDonald). Loved father of Philip and his wife Laurie, and Andrew (deceased) and his wife Jhoana and foster-father of Richie Revan. Loving grandfather of Samantha, Brian, Jamie and Raine and great grandfather of Peyton and Harper. Dear brother of George Jackson (deceased) and his wife Eleanor (deceased) of Port Perry, and Kay and her husband Lee Wood (deceased) of Brampton, and brother-in-law of Dan McDonald and his wife Margaret of Australia, Peter McDonald and his wife Gayle of Meaford, Roy McDonald and his wife Wulan of Indonesia (Roy’s 1st wife Lucy deceased), and Lloyd McDonald (deceased). David will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews. The family of David Jackson will receive friends at Harmony Road Baptist Church, 226 Harmony Road South in Oshawa on Tuesday, November 4th from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. and on Wednesday November 5th from 10 – 11 a.m. followed by a Service to celebrate his life at 11 a.m. with Pastor Dave Stewart officiating. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery, Prince Albert.
