It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of William “Bill” Law, at the age of 82 years old. He is reunited with his wife Marsha Law (nee Fricker), as well as his parents Victoria (nee Horton) and Winston Law. Loving father to Rick Law (Dorothy), Steven Law (Deb), Trudee Law, caring grandpa to Conall, Isla, Kailey (Jordan), Megan (Shawn), Shannon, Jessica and Sarah (Austin), and dear great-grandpa to Oliver, Norah, Maeve and Elaine. Brother to Diane Darragh (Bob) and Darlene Ferris, uncle to Mike Darragh and Megan Darragh.
Bill was an avid reader and lover of sports, particularly curling and baseball, which he coached for many years. He was a saxophonist in some of Barrie’s renowned school bands, as well as a lifeguard. He worked for many years at Toronto Dominion Bank as well as the Business Development Bank of Canada.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd. E, 519-253-7235). As per Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place with a celebration of life to follow at a later date. In honour of Bill, donations may be made out to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre in honour of his loving wife Marsha.
