Judith Lynn Dolan

Passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, in her 77 th year, surrounded by family. Judy and her husband Rick, shared a loving and devoted 58 years together.

Judy was the beloved daughter of Marvin and Margaret Allen, who predeceased her. She was the dear eldest sister to Janice (Jim), Joyce (Bob), Joanne (Paul) and Jill (Rick).

She was a loving mother to Tracey (Brent) and Laura (David) and an adoring grandmother to Taryn, Jack (Sonya), Neve (Avry), Patrick, Sophie, Kayla (Brad) and Carly (Michael). Great grandmother to Brielle, Nicholas, Violet, Amelia and Lucas. She was also a caring aunt to her nieces and nephews.

Judy attended Teacher’s College in Peterborough and completed her degree at Trent University. She was a dedicated teacher in Courtice and Bowmanville, teaching kindergarten to grade 2. She was a highly regarded educator to her former students and colleagues.

She had a passion for reading and literacy, read daily, and promoted early literacy with new mothers and her students alike.

Judy enjoyed many long term friendships, including Susan Amundrud, Kay and George Moore, Bonnie and Ian McQuarrie, Ruth Gibson and David Donovan. She was a proud member of the Ebenezer United Church family.

At Judy’s request, a private service will be held with internment at Bowmanville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ebenezer United Church or Marigold Hospice Clarington.
