David was the beloved husband of Ann, with whom he shared 53 wonderful years. He was a devoted father to Lesley and Morgan, and a proud Papa to Farrah, Sage, Iucy, Ella, and Mary.
He will be lovingly remembered by his Sister Iris (Lou) and is predeceased by his parents Elwood Orville, Doris, and Ryk.
David’s warmth, humor, and love will be deeply missed by his family and many friends whose lives he touched.
He was known for his sharp wit and great sense of humor, always keeping things practical and down to earth. His garage was his personal mancave, where he enjoyed time surrounded by the things he loved, such as welding, carpentry and everyday tinkering. A true fan of classic rock, he also had a passion for scuba diving, riding his Harley, camping, and immersing himself in all thing’s science fiction.
Visitation for David will take place on Saturday, September 20th, 2025, at the Oshawa funeral home, located at 847 King Street west, Oshawa, Ontario L1J 2L4 from 11:30am to 1:30pm. Followed by a service in the Chapel at 1:30pm.
