GANHAO, Ivone Ganhao

December 1, 1941 - March 16, 2026

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Monday, March 16, 2026, at the age of 84. Ivone will be remembered with love and deep appreciation by everyone who knew her.

Ivone was predeceased by Salvador, her beloved husband, with whom she shared 52 years of marriage. Ivone was a cherished mother to Alex (Shirley) and Janet (Mike), and a proud grandmother to Kayla (Robert), Tyler (Kennedy), Samantha, and Taylor. She was also a beloved great-grandmother to Brady and Addy, and will be deeply missed by many extended family and friends.

Visitation will take place at Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King St. W., Oshawa, on Thursday, March 19 from 6–8 p.m. A service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, March 20 at 1 p.m., followed by interment at Thornton Cemetery, Oshawa.

Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
