Obituary of Marilyn Aileen Hillier
Peacefully, on Friday, August 22, 2025 at the Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry, at age 95. Marilyn (nee Griffen), beloved wife of the late Douglas Hillier. Loved mother of Raymond (Leona), Barbara, Steven (Laurel), and Nancy Driscoll (Mike). Loving grandmother of Andrea, Allison, Dana, Jessica, Jennifer, Jillian, Leah, and Aron (deceased) and great grandmother of 8. Predeceased by her brothers Ted Griffen and the Rev. John “Jack” Griffen. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Marilyn and Doug enjoyed many years owning and operating Bayshore Take-out, Port Perry Dairy Bar and Conway Place. They met and treasured so many customers and employees through these businesses. A private celebration of Marilyn’s life will be held.
