RIVOIRE, Donald Edgar Rivoire

Our hearts are filled with sadness as we announce the passing of Donald Edgar Rivoire on March 14, 2026, in Brockville, at the age of 81. Don was the beloved husband of Susan and stepfather to Shannon, Tanya, and Darrin. He had two lovely daughters, Natalie and Johanna, and was grandfather to Tyler, Dylan, Sydney, and Madison. Don was the son of the late Doris and Sydney Rivoire. He was predeceased by his sister Margaret and is survived by his sister Shirley and his brother Gary and Richard. Don was always very proud of his many nieces and nephews. He will also be deeply missed by his best friend Russell, and Russell’s wife Donna, along with their children and families.

Don will be remembered for his friendliness, especially sitting on his verandah and talking with everyone who passed by. He had strong opinion on politics and was always eager to share them, whether invited or not. Don enjoyed travelling, camping, and boating with his wife Susan. He loved golfing and was one of the town’s most cherished school bus drivers.

In keeping with Don’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Susan will host an Open House at 12 Church Street, on April 4, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, for those who wish to attend.

He will be truly missed.
