JOHNSTON, Clayton Alexander Johnston

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Clayton Alexander Johnston on March 13, 2026.  He is survived by his sisters, Carol McGrath (Doug), Abena Giles, nephews, Parker McGrath (Berat), Isaac and Hayden, his great-nephews, Dean and Logan, and many cousins. Predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Gwendolyn Johnston, and his sister Christine Johnston.

Clayton was born in Toronto on November 30, 1943. He worked as a musician (drummer) in various bands over the years in Canada and the U.S.A.

A Celebration of Clayton’s life will be held on Friday, June 12th, at St. John’s Dixie, 737 Dundas Street East, Mississauga, between 10 am and 12 pm, with interment afterwards at Meadowvale Cemetery.
