GERBER, Mahlon Lloyd Gerber
July 28, 1933 - June 8, 2026
He passed away into the arms of his loving Saviour on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Seaforth Community Hospital, Seaforth. Born July 28, 1933 in Millbank, Ontario, a son of the late Christ and Mary (Lichti) Gerber.
Loving father of Sharon & Arnold Yoder of Gadshill, Marlene & Paul Strubhar of Thornloe, Lynn & John Schapansky of McBride, B.C., Jean & Reuben Derstine of East Berline, PA., Lucy & DeWayne Schrock of Odon, IN., Teresa & Lamar Haldeman of Milton, PA., Stewart & Allison Gerber of Fort Saskatchewan, AB., by daughter-in-law Karen Gerber of Sunbury, PA.. Cherished grandfather of 45 grandchildren and 122 great-grandchildren. He will sadly be missed by stepdaughters Rhoda & Jeff Kuepfer, and Jennifer & Willis Martin, by his step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. He is survived by his sister-in-law Darlene Gerber, and by his nieces and nephews.
Mahlon Lloyd Gerber was predeceased by his first wife Mary (Lichty) Gerber on May 16, 2009, by his second wife Anna Mae (Kuepfer) Wagler on March 24, 2026, by his sons Titus Gerber on March 14, 1980, Terry Gerber on May 27, 2026, by a grandson and a great-granddaughter, by his brother Daniel Gerber, sister Dorothy Lichti and her husband Amos.
Mahlon was a faithful member of Bethel Conservative Mennonite Church and was a charter member of the Milverton Conservative Mennonite Church.
Relatives and friends are invited to Woodlawn Mennonite Fellowship, 6449 Wellington County Road 11, Moorefield, on Thursday, June 11, 2026, from 6 β 8 p.m. and again on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 1 β 3 & 6 β 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Woodlawn Mennonite Fellowship, 6449 Wellington County Road 11, Moorefield, on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Bethel Conservative Mennonite Church Cemetery, 3968 Line 72, Millbank. Fellowship will be held at the Perth East Recreational Complex, 40 Temperance Street, Milverton.
