COZZOLINO, Vincenzo “Vince” Cozzolino
May 24, 1950 - July 10, 2026
Beloved husband of Carol Lea Ferne Cozzolino (née Greason), Vince was the proud and loving father of Anthony (Adrienne) and Christopher (Kimberly). He was a cherished and devoted Nonno to Frederick, Zachary, Santino, and Dante, who brought immeasurable joy to his life.
He is lovingly remembered by his brother Frank(Jenn) Cozzolino, and his sister Angelica(Doug) Jackson. Beloved uncle to Melissa, Dominic Cozzolino, Mark, Jenny Jackson, Rod and Allison Kennedy. Vince was predeceased by his parents, Antonio and Giuseppina Cozzolino.
Born on May 24, 1950, in Ercolano (Naples), Italy, Vince immigrated to Canada with his family aboard the Irpinia when he was just four years old.
A lifelong educator, Vince graduated from McMaster University with a degree in English before attending Teachers’ College in Toronto. He began his teaching career with the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board at St. Francis Xavier Elementary School. He later spent the majority of his career with the Upper Grand District School Board, teaching at Princess Elizabeth Public School and Orangeville District Secondary School, before concluding his distinguished career with the Simcoe County District School Board at Barrie North Collegiate.
Outside the classroom, Vince found happiness in farming, computers, fishing, animals, and fixing anything that needed repair. He was an accomplished home cook who delighted in bringing family together around the dinner table.
Above all, Vince will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, a faithful man of God, and someone whose greatest joy came from spending time with his family. His warmth, wisdom, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
