MORTON, Glen John Morton

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Glen John Morton, who passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026, at 2:35 a.m. in Bowmanville, Ontario, surrounded by the love of his family. He was 64 years old.

Born on January 22, 1962, Glen lived a life marked by hard work, loyalty, and a deep love for his family. He was a dedicated employee of General Motors, where he worked until his retirement. After retiring, Glen enjoyed spending time tinkering with his truck, always finding something to fix, improve, or work on.

Glen was a proud father to Brittany Morton (Ryan Spencer), Travis Morton, Corey Morton, and Damean Morton. His family was the center of his world, and he cherished the time he spent with them. He especially enjoyed accompanying his daughter Brittany to the barn to visit her horses, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

A devoted dog lover, Glen had a special place in his heart for his canine companions. He found joy in the simple things in life—time with family, his dogs, working with his hands, and sharing a laugh with those he loved.

Glen was also blessed with the friendship of Craig Burlie, a dear friend who shared many years of laughter, stories, and companionship. Their friendship was one that Glen valued greatly.

Glen will be remembered for his dry sense of humor, quick wit, and the way he could make others smile with a perfectly timed remark. He touched the lives of many and was loved by family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Though our hearts are broken by his loss, we find comfort in the memories he leaves behind and the love he shared so freely. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
