COLLIER, Brian Collier

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Brian Collier, on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Bluewater Health at the age of 79. Cherished husband of Babs Collier for 60 wonderful years. He is the treasured father of Kacy (Rob) Weeke and David (Brooke) Collier. Wonderful grandfather of Teriann Weeke (Duane Ryan), Bobby Weeke and of Rachel Thornton-Collier and Mitchel Collier (Vicky Verroen). Much adored great grandpa of Lexey, Jack, Caleb, Rosie and Laurel.

Dear brother of Terry Collier and brother in law of Marnie (Nick) Mechelko. Predeceased by his parents George and Violet Collier and by his siblings Joy Collier and Ken Collier. Brian will also be deeply missed by his dog Ivy Rose, and by his good friends Bob Campbell, Tony Arnold and Alphonse Hendrex. Brian was known to take up new hobbies, approaching each one with determination and patience until he had mastered it. Whether sailing, playing the guitar – especially with his great grandkids, skiing, or golfing, he embraced every new challenge with enthusiasm. He was a devoted member and co-founder of the Lambton Outdoor Club, where he shared his love of the outdoors and enjoyed many adventures with fellow members. He will be deeply missed by the many lives he touched.

Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are welcome to an Open House at the Smith Family Centre, 1576 London Line, Sarnia on Thursday, July 16, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. for a time of fellowship and sharing memories of Brian.
