FILNTISSIS, Sabrina Filntissis

FILNTISSIS, Sabrina Filntissis

It is with profound sadness and immense love that we announce the passing of our beloved Sabrina. She passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family.

Sabrina will be remembered for her radiant spirit, her unwavering strength, her generous heart, and her devotion to her family. She was known for her quick wit and infectious sense of humour.

Sabrina Filntissis was the beloved wife of John for 27 years and together they built a beautiful life filled with love, commitment and unwavering devotion. Through life’s joys and challenges, they stood side by side, always supporting and comforting one another. Together they raised two wonderful children, Johnny and Angelina. Sabrina was a devoted and caring mother who celebrated every milestone, offered support and guidance, and always made her children feel deeply loved. She was incredibly proud of the individuals Johnny and Angelina have become — of their character, compassion, resilience, and accomplishments. Being their mother was the greatest privilege of her life, and her presence will continue to guide them in the years ahead.

Predeceased by her parents, Giuseppe and Marie D’Agostino, she has joined them in heaven on this day to celebrate what would have been her dad’s 90th birthday. It brings us comfort to imagine them celebrating together once again.

She was the devoted and cherished youngest sister to Rina (Mark) and Vivian (Antonio).
Sabrina will be sadly missed by her in-laws, George and Soula, and brothers-in-law George (Jennefer) and Frank (Niki). She was the proud aunt to Philip, Sarah (Joe), Nicholas, Natasha, Chrissie, Georgia, George, Giorgios and Athena. She was the proud great-aunt and godmother to Claire, James and Noah, whom she lovingly referred to as “her babies” and cherished with all her heart. Sabrina was so grateful for the love and support of her cousins, Sandra and Carla, whom she considered sisters.

Her passing leaves an immeasurable void in our hearts, but we find comfort in the countless memories of happy times together and in knowing that she is finally resting peacefully, reunited with her parents and grandmother, Teresa (“Nonna Chi Chi”).

Sabrina, your life was a blessing to us, and your memory a treasure. You will be forever loved and always remembered.

Sabrina wished to express gratitude to her niece, Sarah, and Sarah’s husband, “Dr. Joe”, for their medical care and invaluable support and compassion. Sabrina also wished to extend heartfelt gratitude to the staff and her colleagues at Mackenzie Health Richmond Hill and to all those who offered their love, prayers and support.
