COULOIGNER, Jeannine Louise Couloigner

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeannine Louise Couloigner (née Lepage) in her 87th year on June 26, 2026. Beloved wife of Albert Couloigner for 69 years. Jeannine was born in Brest, France, and came to Canada in 1958. She was known for her skills in French cuisine and loved to entertain her friends and family at her home in Port Colborne, Ontario. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bocce, bowling, and volunteering at her grandchildren’s schools, as she absolutely adored children. Jeannine, better known to her family as Mamy, was a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her son Jean-Marc (Gayle) and is predeceased by her son Bruno (Loretta). Mamy was adored by her grandchildren Celina (Benjamin), Marc (Santana), Johnathan (Sarah), and Mikayla. Her great-grandchildren-Orion, Odin, Miranda, Olivia, and Sabrina—loved her and her weekly visits that brought laughter and Timbits to the table. Jeannine will also be missed by her many family members throughout France, and her niece Lynda (Paul) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Cremation has taken place, and a private service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations in Jeannine’s name to the Alzheimer Society.
