Peacefully at Bethell Hospice on Wednesday, July 22nd, 2026 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Elaine (née Stein). Dear father of Kim (Krystian Stringer) and Jennifer (Jay Adams). Cherished grandfather of Kwynn and Blake Stringer and Juliet Adams. Murray Markowski will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.

A Celebration of Murray’s Life will be held in September at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First Street, Orangeville, ON L9W 2C8. Family and friends are invited to join together in remembering and honouring Murray. Details of the service will be announced when available.

Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of Murray in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
