HIGHLEY, Donald Joseph Highley

He passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at St. Joseph’s Hospice, London at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Eleanor for 63 years. Loving father of Fiona (Mark), Paul, Derek (Sharon), and Brian (Jacqueline). Dear grandfather of Leah (Kris), Kyan (Danielle), Heather (Jonathan), Claire (Kevin), Madeleine (Thiago), Amanda, Lauren, Gillian, Kevin, Andrew, Veronica, and Wynona. Loving great-grandfather of Jonah, Elowyn, Donny, Paulie, Drew, Elena, and Benjamin. Donald will be lovingly remembered by many extended family members and friends.

Donald Joseph Highley was a fellow of the Insurance Institute of Canada and was VP with AON Insurance Company. He was a proud 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed staying active through golf, bowling, and darts. He leaves behind a loving family in Canada and Scotland who will forever hold him close in their hearts

Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Friday July 17, 2026, from 4-6 o’clock. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, on Saturday, July 18, at 1:30 pm. Cremation to follow. Donations to the St. Joseph’s Hospice would be appreciated
