DUNN, Geraldine Dunn
It is with profound sadness that the family announce the passing of Geraldine Dunn on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.

Geraldine is survived by her loving, devoted husband Michael and her loving brothers Gerry Madden (Tanya), Ken Madden (Susan) and their children Alexandria, Rob, Jeff, Connor, and Rowen. It is difficult to put into words how much she meant to her husband and brothers. She was more than a wife and sister—she was a constant presence, a source of love, laughter, support, and connection. She intertwined her life with theirs, making sure they remained close and that there was always a reason to come together. She welcomed their families and friends as her own, creating a sense of belonging and making everyone feel at home. Her husband and brothers have lost not only a beloved wife and sister, but a part of the bond that held their family together. The depth of that loss is impossible to express.
Geraldine Dunn will be missed by her children Gigi Kain (Tom), Nathan Dunn (Erin) and her grandchildren Ryan, Patrick, Gavin, Garrett, Bridget, Brendan, Jake, and Kacey.
She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews and all her friends that she treated as family.

Geraldine’s greatest gift was her generosity. She treated everyone she met like family, weaving the lives of those she loved into her own and making each person feel welcomed, comfortable and truly at home. She had a wonderful sense of adventure and fun, bringing joy to those around her. She included everyone and made sure no one ever felt left out.

She volunteered with the Red Cross and had a deep love for animals, often opening her home to stray cats. She was the centre of her family and friends, always bringing people around and hosting to keep everyone connected. Her warmth, adventurous spirit, and love of life created a sense of family wherever she went. She made life more joyful simply by being a part of it, and the love and memories she gave so freely will remain with everyone who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an animal shelter of your choice in memory. Her deep love for animals, especially her compassion for stray and vulnerable cats was a beautiful reflection of the kindness and generosity she shared throughout life.
