She loved 5 pin bowling and the comradery of it, spending fifty years on the Scarborough League, with forty-two of them as Treasurer, and many years managing a Ladies League on Thursday afternoons at O’Connor Bowl, and later at Parkway Bowl. Margie loved to go to the casino and play the slots. When she won, which she often did, she shared her good fortune with her friends and family. In addition to providing daycare for neighbors and family, Margie worked at the Post Office, and later on the Investigation staff at the Robert Simpson Company. She was also a proud member of the neighborhood watch on Mozart and had friendships with her next- door neighbors through the years. Margie loved entertaining and also organized many events including bowling banquets, holiday parties, family reunions in Springwater and at the Mermaid Cottages in Wasaga Beach.
