Entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on August 10 surrounded by his family at his home on Belwood Lake, peacefully after a brave 8-month battle. Beloved wife of 58 years to Marilyn (nee Cunningham), cherished father of Dave (Jenny) and Cathy. Much loved grandchildren Nathan, Jacob, Chloe, and Lilly. Reunited in Heaven with father Fred, mother Isabel, and sister Bernice (Cecil) of Sauble Beach, where he was born and raised.
We rejoice in the promise of eternal life (John 3:16)! Allen is free of pain and singing with the angels in glory. He will be so deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Funeral Service will be held at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Center, 21 First St. Orangeville, Ontario on Saturday, August 16th, 2025 at 11:30 am. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am. Reception to follow.
A tree will be planted in memory of Allen in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
