Richard peacefully passed away, with his family by his side at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at 88 years of age. Beloved husband of Carol for 58 years. Loving dad of Victoria Variava and father-in-law of Iqbal Variava. Proud papa of Sara and Maya. Dear brother of Patricia and late Georgina.
Visitation will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Rd., Bradford on Saturday, June 14, 2025 from 1:30 p.m. until the time of a funeral service at 2:30 p.m., followed by cremation.
In Richard’s memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
