With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Barry Joseph Hogan on May 24, 2025, with family by his side. He was 71 years of age. Devoted husband to Marilyn, to whom they shared 42 loving years together.

They travelled to many countries and continents. Those that joined their journeys always looked forward to a first-class time, the only way Barry knew.
Barry had a deep love for sports and competition. He spent many happy hours on the golf course with his golf buddies, enjoying the game and the camaraderie it brought. Barry and friends went to Myrtle Beach for over 20 years for their annual golf trip. He was also an avid darts player and a dedicated football enthusiast. Barry proudly cheered for the Las Vegas Raiders as evident by his vast Raider’s collection. He was equally passionate about his hometown team, the Oshawa Generals, rarely missing a game.
Visitation will be held at the Oshawa Funeral Home located at 847 King Street West, Oshawa, Ontario L1J 2L4 on Saturday June 14 2025 from 11:00am to 1:30pm followed by a service in the chapel.There will be a reception/get together following, venue TBD.In lieu of flowers, the family are kindly asking for donations to be made in Barry’s name to Shades of Hope, Wildlife Refuge.https://www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/131687
