With a deep sense of sorrow and loss, our family announces the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Veronica Rosita Green, on April 24, 2025, at the age of 85.
Veronica is survived by her older brother Kenneth, her four children Delroy, Marcilyn, Denise, and Dave, nine grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her extended family and friends.
Visitation will take place at Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery on Friday, May 9, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Interment will immediately follow from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery.
Family and friends are invited to attend a reception afterward from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
“Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.” – 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14
