It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Keith Cornelius De Mooy at his home on April 1, 2025.
Keith was the beloved son of Daniel and Grace De Mooy (both predeceased), and a caring brother to Gerald (Diane), Trudy (Craig, predeceased), and Jane. He was a proud uncle to Thomas (Jessica) and Emily (James), and a great-uncle to Clark and Thomas.
Keith was a kind and gentle soul who lived a quiet life. Despite facing difficult challenges, he met them with strength and perseverance. In his younger years, he had a great passion for sports, often spending hours playing hockey on the pond behind his home or enjoying road hockey and baseball in the nearby field.
He was a dedicated fan of the Boston Bruins and the Baltimore Orioles, faithfully cheering on his teams for many years. Keith will be remembered fondly for his fun-loving spirit and quiet resilience. He left us far too soon and will be deeply missed.
A private ceremony will be held in Keith’s honour at Bowmanville Cemetery.
