It is with heavy hearts we announce the loss of our dearest Marilyn, who passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital, on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the age of 84. Devoted wife and business partner to John “Denis” White, to whom she had been lovingly married for 63 years. Cherished mother to Denis (Debbie) White, David White, and Sean (Kimberley Aalhus) White. Proud grandmother to Stephen (Alexandra), Noelle, Kirstin, and Natalie.
Marilyn may be gone from this world; however, she lives on in the stories and memories she has left with all those she touched during her lifetime.
Visitation will be at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington, on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 3–6 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Church, 287 Plains Road East, Burlington, on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 11 a.m. Reception to follow in the church hall. Private cremation and family interment at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Lung Association or Arthritis Society Canada would be appreciated by the family.
