Roger Albert Brunet

Peacefully, surrounded by loving family on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at Bluewater Health, Roger Brunet passed away at the age of 85.

Loving husband of Therese (nee Leclerc) for 62 years. Cherished father of Bob and Cathy Brunet and Jackie and Mike Green. Treasured grandfather of Kyle Green, Rachel (Mike Chalmers) Green, Jennifer (Tanner) Kaspardlov, and Graeme (Jessica) Brunet. Dear great-grandfather to the “apple of his eye” Ava Chalmers. Brother of the late Therese, Helene, Denise, the late Claude, Madeleine, Gisele, Aime, and Ginette, and brother-in-law of Rene (Bonnie) Leclerc, the late Andrea Ewart, and the late Andre Leclerc. Survived by his special niece Tina (Kevin) D’Arcy. Roger Albert Brunet will be missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends. Roger will also be missed by his furry companions Roscoe, Mia, Mae, Annie, MJ, and Rickey.

Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Friday, September 4, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with a memorial service starting directly following at 12:00 p.m.
