It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Theresa Bernice Lamb (née Holmes) on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Champlain Manor, in her 97th year.
Bernice was predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years, Gordie (2005). She will be greatly missed by her children Maurice (Kim), Joan (Richard), and Janice (Jamie), and remembered with love by her daughter-in-law Nancy Lamb. She was predeceased by her son Alvin (survived by Chris).
She leaves behind cherished memories with her grandchildren: Erin (Blair), Neil (Cheryl), Drue (Will), Melissa, Jessica (Kyle), Christopher, Bradley (Kris), Brent (Michelle), Katie, Ian, Caitlin (Adam), Megan (Ryan), and Cameron. She was a proud great-grandmother to Kayla, Lily, Lane, Colby, Cohen, Amelia, Keegan, Ari, Maddison, Macy, Catherine, Hannah, and Rosemary.
Bernice was predeceased by her siblings Howard, Edward, Nita, Merlie, and Joe. She will be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Mangan Funeral Home, 332 Osborne St., Beaverton, on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a Rosary Service at 3:45 PM.
A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, 2172 4th Concession Rd., Brechin, on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM, followed by interment at St. Andrew’s Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Muscular Dystrophy Canada would be appreciated by the family and can be made by cheque through Mangan Funeral Home.
