Jean “Charlie” Charles Guay
June 30, 1925 – March 1, 2025
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at Hillsdale Estates, Oshawa, on Saturday, March 1, 2025, in his 100th year.
Devoted husband to the late Lorraine for 68 years. Loving and devoted father to Ginette, Jacques (predeceased by Judy), Line, Denis, and Luc (Leslie).
Survived by his beloved sisters Rachel Couture, Helen Guay, Soeur Lorrette Guay, and brother Ti Louis Phillipe Guay.
Charlie will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends. He was passionate about being outdoors, especially amongst the forest and trees, where he found peace and joy.
Visitation will be held at Oshawa Funeral Home (847 King Street West, Oshawa) on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m., followed by a Service of Remembrance in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. A private family service will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, 355 Taunton Road East, Whitby.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
