It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marshall Edgar McQuaid on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa, at the age of 45. Surrounded by his family and friends, Marshall peacefully left this world, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Marshall was the dearly loved husband of Dana Joyce and the proud and devoted father of Ashton. He was the beloved son of Teresa and the late Roger McQuaid (2020) and a cherished brother to Laurie (Guy), Annette (Brian), Roger Jr. (Tammy), Stephen (Jen), and the late Ralph (2002). He will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his many friends.
A Service to celebrate Marshall’s life will be held at Port Perry United Church, 294 Queen Street, Port Perry, on Monday, December 2, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Nestleton United Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospital for Sick Children Foundation in Toronto. Arrangements are entrusted to Wagg Funeral Home, 216 Queen Street, Port Perry (905-985-2171).
