Frances Irene Nixon (née Williams) passed away peacefully at Trillium Villa Nursing Home on September 28, 2026. She was born on September 2, 1931.
She was the beloved wife of the late John “Nick” Nixon and a loving mother to the late John “Milk” Nixon, Kathy (Richard) Brennan, and Cindy (Glenn) Tremain. Frances was a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, and her family expressed heartfelt appreciation to the staff and volunteers of the VON Day Program and Trillium Villa for their care and support.
A funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on October 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with family and friends received for one hour before the service. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to the VON Day Program; cheques are accepted at the funeral home.
