Rosie “Rose” Chant passed away peacefully on September 27, 2026, at the age of 86. She was born in Cape La Hune, Newfoundland, on July 10, 1940.
Rose is remembered by her husband George, children Cherice, Vernon and Lynda, seven grandchildren, brothers Cecil and Gerald, extended family and friends.
She worked for the federal government and enjoyed quilting, reading, travel and time with family and friends. Cremation has taken place, and no service will be held.
