December 31, 1952 – October 1, 2026

His loving family, Larry passed away at the age of 73 after a brief battle with Mesothelioma. Larry Marvin Park passing was on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Bluewater Health. Beloved husband of Barbara Park, the love of his life, for 52 years. Loving father of John Glen (Krista) Park, James Clinton Park, Jeffery Christopher Park, and Jennifer Christine (Tim) Bailey. Cherished grandfather of Keira, Kavin, Kael, Konnor, and Evelyn. Treasured brother of Doris Walker (Richard) and brother-in-law of Greg (Debbie) Nicholls, Ruth (Dwight) Goossen, Jane (Rick) O’Neill, and John (Marcia) Nicholls. Predeceased by his parents John and Norma. Larry, together with his wife Barbara, worked as the building managers for Drewlo Holdings at the Marina Park Place apartments on Sandy Lane – a job they’ve enjoyed together for the past 17 years. Larry was a lifelong roofer, owning and operating LMP Roofing for over 30 years. He will be remembered as a craftsman, building several homes over the years for his family of six. When Larry wasn’t working, he lived for the great outdoors. Family vacations at the cottage, hunting, and annual fishing trips with his sons meant the world to Larry. Above all, time spent with Barbara, their children and grandchildren gave Larry the utmost joy. Larry was a member of Peoples Church since 1974 and was baptised as a witness for his profession of faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. The family wishes to thank Dr. Kim, Dr. Aad, and Dr Miller, as well as all of the nurses and staff in Palliative Care and 3rd floor surgical departments for their care and compassion. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for visitation. A funeral service will be held at Peoples Church, 3888 London Line, Wyoming, on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. with the service at 11:00 followed by a luncheon. The internment will conclude at Lakeview Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to McMaster Children’s Hospital or the Canadian Mesothelioma Foundation (cheques only at the funeral home please).
