Verna Lynne Hannaford (née Cragg) of Fort Erie, Ontario, passed away on October 3, 2026, at age 76, following a lengthy illness. She was born June 19, 1950, in Great Falls, Montana, USA, and held dual American and Canadian citizenship.
She was the beloved mother of Lenisa, Juanita, Aniela, and Tadeusz Hannaford, cherished grandmother (“Grammie”) of nine, and great-grandmother of two. She was predeceased by her husband Blake Hannaford. She enjoyed crafting, knitting, crocheting, and sewing.
Cremation has taken place; a private family gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to local animal rescues would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Tranquility Burial & Cremation Services (Niagara) Inc.
