Virgenia Pauline “Gena” Rensberry passed away peacefully in Sault Ste. Marie on October 8, 2026, two months before her 100th birthday. Born in Wisconsin, she shared 72 years of marriage and ministry with her husband, Arthur Merlyn Rensberry.
Gena is remembered by her husband, children David, Steve and Donita, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Salvation Army on John Street on October 13, 2026, at noon, followed by a luncheon. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army.
