Maureen McGrath (nee Coffey), 93, of Vernon, BC, died on Friday, October 9, 2026.
Maureen was born on January 13, 1933, to Cornelius and Kathleen Coffey in Cork,
Ireland. Maureen was predeceased by her loving husband Edward Patrick McGrath, her
daughter Kathrine McGrath and her brother Michael Coffey.
Maureen is survived by her children Ann (McGrath) Locke-Pope (Glenn), Linda McGrath
(Geoff), Michael McGrath (Donna), John McGrath (Wendy), Paul McGrath (Tatiana),
Niall McGrath (Jill) and Tracy McGrath; her grandchildren Anthony, Maureen, Melanie,
Maeve, Liam, Eamon, Brendan, Vlada, Cornelius and Des; her great-grandchildren,
Caleb, Sydney, Ella, Nicolas, Addison and Ewan; her siblings Muriel, Betty,
Veronica, Derek and all her extended family in Ireland and England.
Funeral mass will be held on Monday, October 19, 2026, at St. James Catholic
Church (2607 27th Street, Vernon, BC) at 11:15 am. Burial will take place in St.
Albert, Alberta Spring 2027.
