TOMBS, Lloyd Albert - Of Arthur passed away peacefully at the Caressant Care Nursing Home, Arthur on Sunday, August 20, 2017 in his 92nd year.
Cherished husband of Irene for 38 years.
Father of David and Peggy Tombs of Nova Scotia, Laurie and Dennis Smith of Kenilworth, Tom Morton of Arthur and the late Robert Morton.
Grandfather of Crystal Kaiser, Eric Kaiser, Hilary and Bryan Finch, Matthew Gilles, Evan Gilles, Scott and Christine Morton and Sheena Morton. Great grandfather of Lachlan, Tavin and Lilliana.
Brother of Charles and Marg Tombs. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Crawford funeral chapel, Arthur and on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the Arthur Pentecostal Assembly, followed by the Funeral Service of Remembrance at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Durham Anglican Cemetery. Royal Canadian Legion Branch #226 will conduct a Legion Service in the Funeral Home on Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m.
