COPFER, Art - (July 3, 1969 - October 23, 2017) - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden accidental passing of Art at his home in Bancroft, Ontario. He was born and grew up in Niagara Falls and Fonthill.
He leaves behind to mourn, his best friend and wife, Lisa, his two adored daughters; Janessa (Ryan) and granddaughter to be born in January, and Tianna, his brother Bob (Rosann) and sister Amy Riddick and proud mom and dad Twila and Tom Copfer, one nephew and three nieces, many aunts and uncles, valued friends including his constant companions, Bo Rangler, Cleo and Dani Girl.
Art and Lisa owned and operated Copfer's Cabins for the last 5 years and met many repeat guests that were treated like family. He passed away on his 14 acres of heaven which will forever be his 'Work of Art'.
He lived and worked for his family. He was generous to all he met and will be remembered for his honest, kind, and caring nature and will be forever loved and respected by many.
Friends are invited to call at the Patterson funeral home, 6062 Main St., Niagara Falls for visiting Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:30 at the funeral home. You are invited to wear casual attire including camouflage. Cremation will follow.
Inurnment will take place at a later date.
In memory of Art, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the education of his future granddaughter, and would be appreciated by his family.
