It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of John Joseph Abramowich, age 71, on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre (TBRHSC).

John was born in Fort William on December 31, 1952. He was the housing manager at Native People of Thunder Bay Development Corporation for 30 years before retiring in 2019.

John is survived by his loving wife Marie, sons Kristofer and Jason, siblings Larry (Jean), Bill, Yvonne (Peter), sister-in-law Annette (Luka), and numerous nieces and nephews.… Read More

Mrs. Debra Lee Faulkner (nee Mintenko) passed away suddenly on June 17, 2024, at the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital. Born on June 10, 1957, in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Debra was the middle child of Mike and Viola Mintenko. Debra grew up in Shabaqua and Port Arthur, attending school in Thunder Bay. She attended Lakehead University, graduating with a degree in Library Science.
