LESNIAK, Esther (Kohn) – After a lengthly battle with Alzheimer’s, on Sunday morning, March 1, 2020, in Toronto, with her children by her side.
Devoted wife of the late Stefan Lesniak.
Beloved mother of Elaine Lesniak and Stanley Lesniak.
Proud and cherished grandmother of Megan, Dylan and Ari.
Dear sister-in-law of Roman and the late Bernice Lesniak.
Special aunt of Irwin and Susanne Lesniak, and the late Grace Lesniak, and great- aunt of Michael and Jason.
Mother-in-law of Diane Lesniak.
Predeceased by her parents who perished in the Holocaust. Esther will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, March 3 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at the Adath Israel Poale Zedek Anshei Ozeroff Congregation Cemetery, de la Savane. Shiva at Ruby Foo’s Hotel Tuesday following burial until 5:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Evening services at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday. Shiva continuing Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in Toronto at 92 Hilton Ave.
