McGHEE, Wayne Alvin McGhee  -  It is with heavy hearts, the family of Wayne Alvin McGhee announce his passing on July 12 2019, after a short battle with cancer.

Wayne Alvin McGhee was born on February 23rd 1954 to the late Henry McGhee and the late Edna McGhee (Smith). 

Wayne is survived by his brother Rick McGhee and aunt Ruth McGhee.

Beloved husband of Lola McGhee(Misiak) for 38 years. Loving father to Michael McGhee and Whitney McGhee(Kurtis).

Loving step father to John Robinson(Annette) and Tracy Robinson(Greg). "Papa" will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Natasha, Andrew, Ryan, Ethan,Sadie-May, Aiden, Skyler, and Jace, also his great grandchild Aria. 

Wayne will fondly be remembered by his extended family and his many friends and colleagues. 

Wayne will forever be remembered as a man of compassion, character, and for his love and dedication to his family and friends.

The family would like to extend a thank you to the wonderful staff in C7 wing at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their dedication and compassion to our family during Wayne's brief stay.

At Wayne's request a cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held on September 8th 2019 at the Canadian Corps Association located at 142 Athol St E, Oshawa between 1-4 pm.

Memorial donations may be made to Feed the Need Durham.
