Griffith ErrolGRIFFITH, Errol Gregory  - (November 17th, 1934 - July 31st, 2019)

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Errol.

He peacefully passed away at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.

Errol is survived by Theresa, his devoted wife for 47 years.

He was the loving father of Jennifer, Leslie, Alan, Darlene, and son-in-law, Errol.

He is the cherished grandfather of Natasha, Alysia, Shanikqua, Nathaniel, and Abigail. Errol is the beloved great-grandfather of Tyrelle and Amaya.

He will be lovingly remembered by his sisters-in-law, Angela, Patricia, Maralee (Rick), and Karen, as well as his nieces Marva (deceased), Juliet, June, Tracey and Wendy and nephews Junior, David, Nicholas, and Josh.

Errol worked as a benchmoulder in foundries for 51 years (at Texaco in Trinidad and at Burndy Electrical/Framatome in Canada). He will be dearly missed by his friends at Club Carib of Oshawa, Inc. where he was a devoted member for over 40 years.

Errol was a forerunner and dedicated past President of the Toronto Cricket Umpires’ and Scorers’ Association for 10 years and a life member of the Canada Cricket Umpires Association. He was a proud member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, and he was a devout member of the Loyal St. John’s Lodge for almost 40 years.

Errol was passionate about being involved in these organizations and communities. He loved all his family and friends beyond words.

Special thank you to the dedicated doctors, nurses, and staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
