EMES, Donna Marie (nee Giblen) - (August 8, 1951 - April 27, 2020)

Peacefully passed away on April 27th, 2020 at Ajax Hospital, at the age of 68.

She will be forever missed by her loving husband of 50 years, Donald, and her children Jennifer (Michael), Dawn-Marie (Leonard), and Chad (Amy).

She will be forever cherished by her eleven grandchildren; Julie-Anne, Sennia, Dwayne, Marcell, Tara, Keenan, Avery, Taizha, Ethan, Terrell and Lauren, whom were her pride and joy!

She was a beloved sister to Bettyann (late), Carolann, Marlene (late) Paul (late), Ellen, Terry (late), Gail, and Marylou and sister in law to Diana, John, Carol (late), Linda (late), Brenda, Chuck, and Patricia.

Donna’s best quality was her kind heart and gentle spirit; she was thoughtful, caring, and would go above and beyond for others, usually putting them before herself.

She will be forever and greatly missed by ALL of her family and friends, whom she truly loved and valued.

The viewing will be held at McEachnie Funeral Home, Ajax, on Saturday May 2nd from 8 AM to 11 AM **but will be restricted to 10 people at a time (please schedule your time with the family so they can fit everyone in).

Unfortunately, due to the current restrictions, the funeral service will be held with her immediate family only at the cemetery.

As Donna has touched so many lives, in so many ways, we would ask that you save the date (August 8th – if restrictions allow) when we will host a celebration of life for her.

We want to thank the Ajax Lakeridge Hospital for their compassionate care that they provided to our mother and for the exemplary support they have provided our family; they are truly amazing and we are forever grateful.

In lieu of flowers, we would appreciate if you would make a donation in her memory to the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region.
