KING, Jeremiah 'Jerry' - (October 25, 1947 – September 7, 2020)
Jeremiah, affectionately known as “Jerry” King, a gentle, kind and loving soul, passed away on September 7, 2020 in his 72nd year at the Providence Health Care Hospital.
Jeremiah passed away with his niece Cherryann holding his hand and knowing that he was loved, cherished and treasured. Loving son of the late Joseph and Eslin King.
Beloved father of Verna King, Godwin King and Keith King.
Grandfather to 5 wonderful grandchildren and Great Grandfather to 7 beautiful children.
He leaves behind 2 brothers Amos King and Windell King. As well as 8 sisters Rosalind Bacchus, Sheila Deane, Marie-Louise (Princy) Thomas, Zetha Veira, Juliet King, Julia Lewis, Annis Bullock and Joyce Ollivierre.
Siblings that went before him are Ella Williams, Myrtle Thomas, Ida (Luenda) King and Godford King.
Jerry will be fondly remembered by his many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and extended family members from St. Vincent, Canada, England, Trinidad and the United States.
Annis, Felix, Cherryann and Julieann would like to express their sincere thanks for all your prayers, support and love while they took care of Jerry during these last months of his life.
A special thank you to the staff at Providence Health Care Hospital for their thoughtfulness and kindness of Jeremiah while he was in their care. Your diligent care for him was greatly appreciated.
Jerry has now gone to rest and is waiting for that great day when we will all meet at Jesus’s feet.

Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, September 17th from 6 – 8 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, September 18th at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery.
