MAINGOT, Leo - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Leo Maingot.
Leo passed away peacefully at Fairview Lodge on Monday, November 9, 2020 at age 90.
Leo will be greatly missed by his children, Lana (James) and Russell (Martha).
Loving grandfather to Katie and AJ.
Leo had a remarkable boyhood in Kenya. He moved to Trinidad in his teens and spent many happy times at the beach surrounded by friends and family. He moved to Canada with his beloved wife, the late Adelaide Maingot.
Leo worked hard and was completely devoted to his family. He loved to race his homing pigeons and to relax with a classic movie shared with loved ones. Keep “… singin’ in the rain,” Dad. We will look for you in the rainbows.
There will be a private service for immediate family.
A sincere thank you to the staff at Fairview Lodge (especially Wayne) for the years of care.
