BARTON, Jean Lillian (Weatherhead) - (August 20th, 1940 - March 17th, 2021)
It is with heartfelt sorrow that the family of Jean Lillian Barton (nee Weatherhead) passed away suddenly March 17, 2021, due to complications related to a stroke.
Jean was sadly predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years, David Patrick Henry Barton November 26, 2018.
Jean will be sadly mourned by her son, James Barton and wife Suzanne, daughter Kimberly Barton and husband Tony Frendo-Cumbo and by daughter Susan Barton.
The many grandchildren who cherished their nana and will miss her terribly as time passes are James Barton and partner Amanda Redick, Richard Frendo-Cumbo and wife Christina, Krystina Frendo-Cumbo and fiancé Mike Spiller, Jennifer Barton and partner Ryan Murphy, Mackenzie Frendo-Cumbo, Sydney Barton and Kaitlin Barton.
Great grandchildren Griffin, Eloise and Harrison will greatly miss their nana’s loving spirit and sage knowledge.
Nan will also be very sadly missed by the family cat Costello who was of great comfort to her over the past two years.
We ask that any donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in our mother’s name.
Private Family Service will be held at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 5295 Thickson Rd. N., Whitby on Monday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
