NESBITT, Arthur Weston Nesbitt - It is with great sadness that the family of Art Nesbitt announces his sudden passing at the age of 77 on Sunday May 23, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.
Art had a 40-year career with Zellers, and made many wonderful friends during that time.
He loved to curl, to garden and to spend time talking with family and friends.
He was always incredibly friendly, with a ready hello, wave and a smile for everyone.
Although the last 15 years were difficult for him no longer being able to do the things he wanted to do, or to carry on the conversations he wanted to have, he still managed to stay in touch with his friends and family by forwarding many (many!) daily email jokes.
Heaven will be a little louder now that he can have lots of easy chats with all who have gone before him.
He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 57 years Sheila, his daughter Leanne (Brian Ellis), his son Todd and his sister Margaret.
He will be greatly missed by his extended family and many wonderful friends.
Due to current restrictions, a private service will be held for immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the March of Dimes Canada, Aphasia and Communication Disabilities Program are welcome.
