NOTARO, Len Notaro   - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Leonard (Len) Notaro on July 4th, 2021, in his 85th year.

Loving husband of over 60 years to Diane (née Ronald).

Dedicated father of Mary-ann MacFadyen (Duncan), Michele Notaro (the late Michael Mallory), Michael Notaro (Joanne) and Leonard Notaro (Corinne).

Proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren: Graham, Kylie, Taylor, Rachael (Justin), Natalie, Nicole, Joshua, Danielle, Kristen and Jacob.

Dear brother of Frances Notaro (Armando) and the late Bernadette Polito (Leonard), Phyllis Darrigo (Tony) and Dolores Delahunt (Robert).

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.   Len was an active and involved father, coaching his children’s soccer teams over the years and serving as the president of the Markham Youth Soccer Club.

He was a proud Canadian and worked for Bell Canada for almost 35 years.

Len was the pillar of the family and spending time with his family was his passion.

Visitations will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, Oshawa on Sunday, July 11th from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm-8:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday July 12th at 11:00am. All are welcome to attend the visitation, however, due to current restrictions, to attend the funeral we ask that you register with Kylie Mallory by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. A private family interment will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Markham Stouffville Hospital or SickKids Hospital in his name would be greatly appreciated.
