Hooper MargaretHOOPER, Margaret Elizabeth "Betty" Lucinda (née Collen)   -  Peacefully passed away on July 3rd, 2021 at Wynfield Long Term Care in her 92nd year.

Predeceased by husband, Bud Hooper. Loving mother of Cheryl (Donnie Neville), Paul (Carol) and Terry (Debbie). 

Betty is survived by her sister Beaulah (Herman Buchwald).

Predeceased by sister Dorrie and her husband, John Bartlett, brother Bobby and his wife Josie, and brother Tommy and his wife Lois.

Devoted grandmother to Carly, Dustin, Christa (Chris), Erin (Rob), Nolan (Brittany), Bethany (Andrew), Amy, Bradley (Vanessa), David (Britni), and great grandma to eleven.

Predeceased by one grandchild and one great grandchild.

Betty took on the role of Pastors wife for over 20 years and was actively involved in church ministry particularly teaching Sunday school and playing piano.

Later in life she went back to school and then re- entered the workforce at the office of Oshawa Golf and Curling Club.

Betty enjoyed family and will be remembered for her sense of humour and infectious laugh.

She was proud of her grandchildren and very interested in their various activities, attending whenever possible.

After many years battling Alzheimer's disease Betty went home to be with her Lord. 

A celebration of her life will take place at Calvary Baptist Church, Oshawa, on Friday, July 16th, at 1 pm with visitation 12-1 pm. Due to covid restrictions capacity is limited.  Please click on the link to register. https://calvaryon.infellowship.com/Forms/460325
